Submission Guidelines & AgreementRules & TermsBy submitting artwork to the Southern Utah Art Guild and Red Cliff Gallery, you agree to the following terms. Artwork Eligibility & Requirements This show is open to all 2D and 3D art mediums. Artwork will be judged on originality, technique, presentation, emotional impact, and interpretation of the theme. Each Red Cliff Gallery show has a designated theme. Artists are encouraged, but not required, to submit artwork that reflects the theme. Up to three (3) pieces of artwork may be entered per show: $15 for one piece $20 for two pieces $25 for three pieces If paying by check, make payable to Southern Utah Art Guild. One piece of artwork may be designated Not For Sale (NFS). Artwork may be re-entered into a show after one year has passed, provided it has not previously won an award. All submitted artwork must be appropriate for display at Red Cliff Gallery, as determined by the RCG Director. The RCG Committee reserves the right to deny any entry based on framing quality or hanging hardware. Please refer to the hanging instructions link Red Cliff Gallery Standard Originality & Artist Responsibility All artwork must be original work created by the submitting artist. Preprinted panels, cards, giclées, or reproductions are not allowed. The Southern Utah Art Guild and Red Cliff Gallery are not responsible for any copyright infringement by the artist. Display & Hanging The RCG Committee will label, display, and hang all artwork. Assistance may be provided during check-in. Art tags must be attached to the back of each submitted piece. Sales & Commission The Southern Utah Art Guild retains a 25% commission on all artwork sales. Artists should price their work accordingly. Sales tax will be added to the purchase price and collected by Red Cliff Gallery at the time of sale. Artists may replace sold artwork with another piece as soon as possible at no additional charge. Promotion & Image Use By submitting artwork, the artist grants permission to the Southern Utah Art Guild and Red Cliff Gallery to photograph and reproduce images of the artwork for promotional and marketing purposes. RCG promotes artwork on social media (Facebook/Instagram).
