Hello! My name is Laura Keller. I was born and raised a Utah resident for the majority of my life. I lived in the southern Utah area for over 2 decades part time before moving to St George as a full-time resident. For me- Southern Utah is a plethora of beauty and color, and a fiesta for the soul with its outdoor wonders. From our beautiful surroundings we gather so much insight, and a resilient inner peace that I believe is a rare gift. The inspiration this provides is an artist’s dream come true, and I’ve utilized every opportunity to bask in the delights we have at our finger tips. I started an art journey with a vivid imagination, and a natural love for color and light. Starting with color theory and design I gravitated naturally to the beautiful world of color through acrylic and oil painting. As time passed my talents grew as did my desire for advanced techniques, and the adventures in front of me exploring upcycled substrates, and 3-D mosaic glass art. The brilliant colors, depth, and shimmering light led me to my destination. I was immediately smitten with the diversity mosaic art provides, and the wide range of possibilities with trinkets galore to accomplish beautiful pieces of art.
